Come and explore the wonders of fire by friction and unleash The Fire Within. While on this Quest for Fire you will experience the magic of creating fire, as our ancestors did, for the very first time. We will teach several fire making techniques including; Hand drill, pump drill, bow drill and the fire saw. During this workshop you will create your very own bow drill kit. We will teach how to make cordage out of natural fibers from plants that grow all around us. We also cover material identification and selection, proper fire building, and tinder collection.

Workshop time: 9AM-5PM
