One of the keys to moving comfortably, quietly, and undetected in a wilderness landscape is proper footwear.  Join us in this hands-on workshop to learn the fine art of custom moccasin making.  You will learn how to make a moccasin pattern that fits your individual foot, and can be slightly altered to make winter boots, summer shoes, ankle boots and more.  Not only will you make your very own pair of moccasins you will be taught movement techniques that are centuries old - techniques that will enable you to move undetected through the forest.  This ‘invisibility’ gives you the opportunity to get close to wildlife to observe, hunt or even attempt to touch. 

Workshop Cost-  $200 (includes materials)

Workshop location- Greenbelt Maryland

Workshop Time- Sat & Sun 9AM-5PM

This course is open to individuals, groups, adults (16 & up)
