Our Winter at the Ancestral Knowledge Museum & Research Center give
us the amazing opportunity to focus on import skills the will round out the Homeschool Naturalist experience . We will explore our new facility and the land it sits on. Students will have the unique opportunity to engage in our hands-on museum of nature and ancient earth based skills.
We will still explore the flora and fauna of the local area through animal tracking and plant identification and experience first-hand the interconnectedness of things., We will also be able to focus on some of the long term wilderness skills like Shelter, food processing, and other crafts that needs the freedom that the public parks cant provide.
This program will be 60/40 outdoor/indoor, accessing our research center periodically throughout the day. This program is unlike any other program in the area, as nature is not only our classroom and our teacher it's the foundation of every lesson and experience and now we have the research library and museum to follow up in for a deeper level of learning and connection the experiences and skills.

hrough countless numbers of Earthskills and natural crafts, your child will learn how nature has provided us the four basic elements of survival - shelter, water, fire and food. We will go on daily adventures and learn how to manage these resources and become stewards of the land.
This ancestral knowledge is your birthright and has been passed down from past generations. Through the ancient tradition of coyote teaching, we are building a community of natural leaders that will hold this ancient wisdom and continue to pass it on to future generations to come.
This is a drop off program with age-appropriate activities.
Limited to 10 Participants
Ages: 7-14 (Participants must be of age at the start of the program)
Registration fee: 6 weeks, sliding Scale $210- $450 (you choose what you are comfortable paying)
Where: Lanham/Riverdale, Md
When: Wednesday's, 10:30am-3:00pm once a week (please refer to our calendar for the exact dates)
